Samantha Katterspeck The namesake of the strip. Samantha is an unemployed 21 year old freeloader who prefers less work and more lesiure, often spending more times lollygaggig rather than doing something productive like getting a job or attending university.

Elaine Carillo Sam's best friend. Born to a mexican father and japanese mother Elaine is known for having anger issues and would not hesitate to strangle someone if they irk her too much.

Amy Branigan Amy works as a clerk at a local conveniece store and doesn't seem to mind it one bit even if things go apeshit, she would always handle the situation with a chill and relaxed manner.

Terri McCool Spunky, Rational, and Level-headed Terri prefers folks to be more productive and have fun on whatever they plan on doing for the day or night. Terri is a big fan of 1980s pop and dance music considering them the peak of manmade music. Disliked by Elaine but liked by Amy and Sam.
